1. Data Minimization & Local Offline Storage
ForexHub is designed as a local-first offline position sizing calculator, risk management tool, and trading journal tracker:
- No Account Required: You do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal credentials to use the app.
- Local Data Retention: All trade logs, risk limits, account balances, and ICT plan checklists are stored exclusively on your device using a local Room database. We do not transmit or store your trading data on external servers.
2. Third-Party Advertising & Consent (AdMob & UMP SDK)
To support ongoing development while keeping the application free, ForexHub integrates Google AdMob for advertising services.
- User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK: We utilize Google's certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) to query and request consent choices from users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland prior to loading advertisements.
- Data Collected by Google AdMob: Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), IP address, network state, and non-sensitive diagnostic data for ad serving, frequency capping, and anti-fraud monitoring.
- Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads: Depending on your consent selection via the UMP dialog, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

- Consent Preferences in App: You can review, modify, or revoke your consent preferences at any time by opening the Settings / More screen in ForexHub and tapping Privacy Settings / Consent Preferences.
- Device Advertising ID Reset: You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
4. Children's Privacy
ForexHub is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 and older interested in trading risk management. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13.
5. Compliance & Regulatory Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA regulations, you have the right to access, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Because all application data is stored locally on your device, clearing the app data or uninstalling ForexHub instantly and permanently deletes all your stored information.
