KaziHub does NOT represent, and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or in any way officially connected to the Government of Kenya or any of its ministries, state departments, county governments, or state corporations. All public sector job listings provided in the app are aggregated from publicly available official career portals for informational purposes.

We believe in strict data minimization. The only data processed in connection with KaziHub includes:
- Local On-Device Preferences: Country selection, dark/light theme, data-light mode preferences, bookmarked job vacancies, and private job application tracking notes. This data is stored strictly in your local SQLite database on your device and is never uploaded to any remote server.
- Network & Device Diagnostics: Standard technical parameters required to execute HTTP requests to official career portal feeds.
- Advertising Identifiers: To support the free availability of the application, we use Google AdMob. Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) for fraud prevention, frequency capping, and ad personalization in compliance with user consent.
4. Advertising and Consent Management (GDPR & CCPA)
KaziHub integrates the certified Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to manage user consent in full compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), United Kingdom GDPR, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
- Consent Gathering: When you first launch the app in applicable regions, a consent dialog appears asking for your ad personalization preferences.
- On-Demand Revocation: You can change, review, or withdraw your consent choices at any time inside the app by going to Settings & Privacy → "Ad Privacy & Consent Choices".

5. Third-Party Links & Employer Career Portals
KaziHub aggregates public vacancy listings and provides direct links (via "Apply at Origin") to official employer career websites. When you tap these links, you navigate to third-party web portals governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review their policies when submitting job applications directly.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all user-generated data (saved jobs, application stages, and personal notes) is stored strictly on your local device, you maintain full control over its retention. You can immediately delete all local data by:
- Clearing the app storage in your Android device settings (Settings → Apps → KaziHub → Storage → Clear Data).
- Uninstalling the KaziHub application.
7. Children's Privacy
KaziHub is intended for adult job seekers, professionals, and students aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13.
