1Introduction & Offline-First Architecture
Tech2U Savannah ("we," "our," or "us") operates ChannelStack: Forex Breakout Strategy (Application ID: com.tech2u.lwbreakout). We believe privacy is an intrinsic right. ChannelStack is engineered from the ground up as an offline-first educational application. All 5 curriculum modules, 30 diagnostic quiz questions, interactive strategy primer, and 17 high-resolution channel diagrams are bundled directly inside the APK/AAB package.
Core Privacy Invariant: The app does not maintain any user accounts, requires no login credentials, collects no biometric or financial data, and communicates with zero private servers.
2Information We Do Not Collect
To ensure total transparency, we explicitly declare that we do NOT collect, transmit, store, or sell:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII): No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
- Financial or Trading Credentials: No broker API keys, trading account passwords, MT4/MT5 logins, or balance records.
- Device Identifiers for Tracking: No cross-app advertising IDs or hardware MAC addresses collected by our code.
- Precise Location Data: Zero GPS, Wi-Fi triangulation, or cellular positioning queries.
- Media & Photos: Zero access to your photo library, camera, microphone, or external storage files.
3Local Data Storage & Progress Tracking
All user state is stored exclusively on your device using Android's native SharedPreferences sandbox:
- Curriculum module completion flags (Modules 01 to 05).
- Diagnostic quiz scores, percentage marks, and passing thresholds (70%).
- Sequential module unlocking preference.
- Theme selection (System Default, Dark Obsidian, Daylight).
- Morning discipline reminder notification preference (08:30 AM local time).
You can permanently wipe all local progress at any time directly within the app by tapping Reset Progress on the Readiness tab.
4Device Permissions & Justifications
Required exclusively for loading Google AdMob advertisements and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent forms. The educational reading engine functions completely offline without internet.
Requested on Android 13+ (API 33+) solely to deliver the optional 08:30 AM daily trading discipline study reminder and morning volatility quote. Can be toggled off at any time in Settings.
Required to reschedule your chosen 08:30 AM study reminder alarms locally in Android's AlarmManager after your device restarts.
Provides gentle haptic feedback during interactive quiz question selection and study reminder notifications.
5Advertising & Google UMP Consent Framework
ChannelStack is funded through non-intrusive mobile advertising provided by Google AdMob. To uphold global privacy regulations (EU GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss DPA, and California CCPA/CPRA), we integrate the certified Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK.
- Consent Query: Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with a certified CMP consent dialogue prior to any ad initialization.
- On-Demand Revocation: You can withdraw or adjust your consent choices at any time inside the app by going to Settings → Privacy Settings (Consent Preferences).
- Clean Reading Experience: Reading lessons and quiz answering are 100% ad-free. Interstitials are protected by a strict cooldown throttle.
6Affiliate & External Broker Disclosure
Broker Referral Transparency: ChannelStack includes educational references to regulated execution partners, including an external referral link to HFM (HF Markets). We may receive compensation if you open an account through this referral link at no additional cost to you. Tech2U Savannah does not receive, access, or store any of your registration data, credentials, or trading capital on third-party broker platforms.
7Financial & Educational Risk Disclaimer
EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY: ChannelStack: Forex Breakout Strategy is an educational study companion designed to teach channel breakout theory, Donchian Channels, momentum filters, volume validation, and risk-to-reward arithmetic. It does NOT provide investment advice, financial planning, trading signals, or automated execution. Trading foreign exchange, futures, and CFDs carries significant risk of capital loss.
8Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Our application is intended for adult learners interested in financial education and is not directed towards children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9Global Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Swiss DPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data is processed (we process none outside Google AdMob consent signals).
- Opt out of personalized advertising and data tracking.
- Delete all locally stored data instantly using the in-app "Reset Progress" feature.
