Tech2U Savannah ("we", "our", or "us") develops Daywell: Daily Money Left (Package: com.tech2u.daywell) with an uncompromising local-first, privacy-by-default architecture.
Daywell answers one clear question: "What is safe to spend today?" without requiring bank linking, cloud account registration, or transmission of personal finances over the internet.
Key Principle: Your income, bills, expenses, and notes stay strictly on your device. We do not operate external financial servers that collect or monetize your personal transaction records.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike traditional financial apps, Daywell does not collect:
- Bank account credentials, card numbers, or online banking passwords.
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as full legal name, home address, social security numbers, or national identification.
- Specific monetary values of your income, bills, or discretionary spending to our servers.
- Location telemetry, GPS coordinates, or contact book access.
3. Local Data Storage & Security
All data you input—including income amounts, recurring obligations (bills), transaction entries, and currency preferences—is stored locally in an isolated SQLite database on your device.
You can export or completely delete this data at any time from within the app's Settings menu.
4. Advertising & Analytics (Google AdMob & UMP)
Daywell is supported by advertising via the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). We implement Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to ensure complete compliance with global privacy regulations, including EU GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss DPA, and US State Privacy Laws (CCPA/CPRA).

AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (GAID/IDFA) and coarse crash/performance data according to your consent choices. You can review or modify your consent settings at any time via the "Privacy Settings" option in Daywell's Settings screen.
5. Local Notifications
Daywell offers a daily morning notification reminder to help you check your safe daily spend limit. This notification is scheduled and generated 100% locally on your device using Android's local alarm manager. No remote push server is involved, and no telemetry is transmitted when notifications fire.
6. User Rights & Consent Revocation
You have full authority over your data:
- Consent Withdrawal: Access "Privacy Settings" in Daywell to invoke the Google UMP consent dialog and revoke or update ad preferences at will.
- Data Portability: Export your complete financial logs into JSON/CSV format at any time.
- Right of Erasure: Tap "Reset All Data" inside the Settings menu to wipe all local records permanently.
7. Children's Privacy
Daywell does not knowingly target or collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). Because no personal financial data is collected or transmitted, children's privacy is preserved by design.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Since data is stored exclusively on your device, uninstalling Daywell or clearing app data via Android Settings permanently erases all stored data immediately.
