1. Introduction & Privacy-First Architecture

Tech2U Savannah ("we", "our", or "us") develops Doomscroll Receipt: Screen Time (Package: com.tech2u.doomscrollreceipt) with an uncompromising local-first, privacy-by-default architecture.

Doomscroll transforms your daily digital screen habits into a humorous, itemized "checkout bill" and receipt, helping you quantify your digital attention and scroll debt without compromising your privacy.

Core Privacy Guarantee: Your screen time, app usage statistics, installed applications list, and generated receipts are processed strictly locally on your physical device. We do not operate external database servers that harvest, store, or sell your device activity logs.

2. Usage Access Permission & On-Device Processing

To generate accurate receipts reflecting how much time you spent on your phone, Doomscroll requests the Android Usage Access permission (android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS).

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Doomscroll does not collect or store:

4. Advertising & Analytics (Google AdMob & UMP)

Doomscroll is a free utility supported by advertising via the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). We implement Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to ensure complete compliance with global privacy regulations, including EU GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss DPA, and US State Privacy Laws (CCPA/CPRA).

AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (GAID) and coarse diagnostic telemetry in accordance with your consent choices. You can review or modify your consent settings at any time via the "Consent Preferences" / "Privacy Settings" option in Doomscroll's Settings screen.

5. Local Scheduled Notifications

Doomscroll includes an optional daily morning reminder (e.g., 9:00 AM) to encourage digital mindfulness and reviewing your yesterday's scroll receipt. This notification is scheduled and delivered entirely offline via Android's local alarm scheduler (flutter_local_notifications). No remote push servers, FCM device tokens, or tracking payloads are utilized.

6. User Rights & Consent Revocation

Under international privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you retain complete control over your preferences:

7. Children's Privacy

Doomscroll does not target or knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). Because no personal data or usage logs are collected or stored on remote servers, children's privacy is preserved by default.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data resides exclusively in your device's isolated local application storage, uninstalling Doomscroll or clearing app cache and storage in Android settings permanently and irreversibly erases all data.
