1 Introduction & Core Philosophy
Welcome to FlipDare (“we”, “our”, or “the App”), developed by Tech2U Savannah. FlipDare is a casual physics trick-shot bottle flip puzzle and scene builder designed around offline-first autonomy, zero server tracking, and complete privacy.
Zero-Server Architecture: FlipDare operates entirely without user accounts, logins, telemetry tracking, or external database servers. All bottle-flip simulations, level solving, custom scene codes, and replay clips execute 100% locally on your device.
2 Information Handled Locally (Data Minimization)
FlipDare stores gameplay state strictly on your local device sandbox:
- Tutorial progress and solver-verified completion records (Scenes 1–20).
- Local scene creations and custom share codes (generated via self-describing checksummed payloads).
- Local unlocked bottle skins and daily challenge completion streaks.
- Audio volume, haptic vibration, and reduced motion accessibility settings.
- Ad pacing counters (to enforce non-intrusive ad intervals).
This data is never transmitted to any external server and never linked to any personally identifiable information (PII).
3 Android Permissions & Hardware Usage
FlipDare requests only minimal permissions necessary for app operation:
4 Third-Party Advertising & Google UMP Consent
FlipDare uses Google AdMob to deliver ads. In compliance with global privacy regulations (including EU/UK GDPR, Swiss DPA, and US State Privacy Laws):
- Pre-Consent Enforcement: AdMob is never initialized and no ad requests are made until consent is gathered via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK.
- Ad Pacing Ethics: Interstitial ads are shown only at natural boundaries (never during active flips or building) and are strictly throttled (minimum 8 attempts and 90 seconds between impressions).
- Rewarded Ads: Fully voluntary and opt-in for bonus cosmetic previews or HD clip exports.
Google AdMob & UMP SDK
Google may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID) for ad delivery and fraud prevention according to its own privacy policy:
5 Consent Revocation & Opt-Out Rights
We believe in total user agency. You can review or modify your advertising consent preferences at any time:
On-Demand Consent Reset: Open the in-game Settings screen and tap “Privacy options” to reopen the Google UMP consent form and update your preferences immediately.
6 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
FlipDare is designed as a family-friendly physics arcade puzzle suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe any personal data has been inadvertently collected, please contact us immediately for prompt remediation.
7 Global Regulatory Compliance (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
FlipDare complies with global data privacy frameworks:
- GDPR / UK GDPR: Lawful basis for any ad processing relies on explicit consent via certified CMP. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
- CCPA / CPRA: We do not sell or share personal information. California residents may exercise opt-out preferences via the in-app privacy menu.
