1 Introduction & Offline-First Simulation Architecture

ForexRewind ("we", "our", or "the App"), published by Tech2U, is an offline-first market replay simulator designed to train trader discipline, execution precision, and trade management on historical or synthetic candle data. We operate on a strict privacy-by-default architecture: you do not create an account, log in, or transmit your simulated trading history to any cloud server.

2 Educational Simulator & Financial Disclaimer

ForexRewind is an educational and discipline training tool. To ensure absolute compliance with Google Play Financial Features policies:

• No Real-Money Trading or Brokerage: The App does not execute live market orders, binary options, or CFD transactions. It does not connect to live financial trading networks or broker execution servers.
• No Client Funds or Deposits: We do not hold, deposit, manage, or transfer real money, cryptocurrency, or client balances. All balances are virtual demo credits ($10,000 default).
• No Financial Advice: Past simulated performance on historical or synthetic candle charts does not guarantee real-world trading profitability. Nothing in this application constitutes financial or investment advice.

3 Information We Do Not Collect

Because ForexRewind is architected without a user database or cloud backend, we never collect, transmit, store, or sell:

• Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as full names, home addresses, national identity numbers, or phone numbers.
• Financial information, bank details, credit card numbers, or live brokerage account credentials.
• Biometric identifiers, contacts, SMS messages, media libraries, camera feeds, or microphones.
• Precise or coarse GPS location data.

4 Local Data Storage & Custom CSV Imports

ForexRewind persists simulation data locally on your device within the app's sandboxed storage directory:

• SQLite Database (sqflite): Stores local trading session metadata, trade plans, rule compliance evaluations, and historical trade journal entries.
• Binary Candle Storage: Packs high-frequency historical 1-minute (M1) candle data into memory-mapped binary cache files for high-speed replay without external network calls.
• Custom CSV Imports: When you import your own MT4, MT5, or TradingView 1-minute historical data CSV files, they are parsed locally on your device. No imported market data leaves your phone.

6 Advertising & Google UMP Consent Framework

ForexRewind displays Google AdMob advertisements (interstitials and rewarded ads) to support free practice sessions. We fully enforce the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) Consent Framework:

• Prior Consent Verification: Under EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and Swiss DPA regulations, ads are gated until user consent has been queried and approved.
• On-Demand Consent Revocation: You can review or modify your consent choices at any time by navigating to Settings > Privacy Settings & Consent, which immediately re-opens the certified Google UMP consent preferences form.
• Advertising Identifier: Google AdMob may process an anonymous device advertising ID (GAID) in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

7 External Partner Broker Link (Affiliate Transparency)

The App includes an educational guide to an established tier-1 regulated retail forex broker (HFM - HF Markets). These links are standard outbound web links that open in your default external browser. We do not transmit any personal data, app analytics, or trading journal entries to this partner.

8 Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

ForexRewind is intended for adult retail market learners aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). If we become aware that any child's data has been provided, it will be deleted immediately.

9 Global Privacy Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you hold legal rights concerning your personal information:

• Right to Know / Access: Since we hold no server-side data, all your data exists solely on your physical device.
• Right to Delete: You can permanently wipe all simulation records, journals, and imported datasets at any time by clearing the App's data in your Android system settings, or by uninstalling the application.
• Right to Opt-Out: You may opt out of personalized ad tracking via the in-app UMP Privacy Settings or your Android OS Google Ad settings.

10 Data Retention & Deletion

All practice sessions and journal entries remain on your device for as long as the App remains installed. Tech2U retains zero copies of your simulated trading records.
