1 Overview & Offline Educational Architecture
ICT SMC Mastery: Trading Curriculum (referred to as "the Application", "we", "our", or "us", package name com.tech2u.ict_smc_mastery), developed and published by Tech2U Savannah, is designed as an offline-first technical analysis companion.
Offline-First Commitment: All 12 modules, curriculum guides, institutional diagrams, and quizzes are stored locally on your device upon app installation. Reading lessons and taking module quizzes requires zero active internet access and transmits no personal information to our servers.
2 Financial Non-Intermediation & Educational Disclaimer
The Application is strictly an educational tool. It does not provide financial advice, broker services, live trading execution, or trading signals. Trading foreign exchange (Forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), and other financial markets involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.
Any references to brokers or external regulatory entities are for informational and affiliate transparency purposes only. Users must perform their own independent due diligence before depositing funds with any financial institution.
3 Information We Do Not Collect
We believe in absolute data minimization. We do not collect, request, or store:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
- Financial details, trading balances, bank accounts, or payment records.
- Precise geolocation data (GPS).
- Personal contacts, biometric identifiers, camera inputs, or device microphones.
4 Local Data Storage & Progress
The Application utilizes on-device key-value storage (SharedPreferences) exclusively to store user learning progress:
- Completed modules and highest quiz scores.
- User appearance preferences (System, Light, Dark theme mode).
This information never leaves your device and can be wiped immediately at any time by tapping Reset Progress in the More tab or clearing app data in Android settings.
5 Device Permissions & Technical Purpose
6 Advertising & Google UMP Consent Framework
The Application integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to support ongoing free educational development. In compliance with European GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP, and US state privacy regulations (including CCPA/CPRA), we deploy the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK.
Users in applicable jurisdictions are presented with an interactive consent form upon initial launch to choose between personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or ad partner restrictions. You can modify or withdraw your consent preferences at any time by navigating to More > Consent Preferences.
7 Third-Party Services
Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform
AdMob may collect anonymized advertising identifiers, diagnostic telemetry, and crash diagnostics subject to your consent preferences.
8 Data Retention & Deletion
Because we do not operate remote user accounts, we retain no user data on external servers. All on-device learning history and preferences are automatically deleted if you uninstall the Application.
9 Children's Privacy
The Application is intended for general audiences interested in financial literacy and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The revised policy will be posted on this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any updates.
